Sreyashi Sen is dedicated to promoting social change and cultural integration through the arts to foster global dialogue, understanding, and learning.

As the Founder and Managing Director of DARPAN GLOBAL, a Singaporean brand, she focuses on producing, distributing, and curating content across various platforms, making significant contributions to the film industry.

Sreyashi Sen is a pioneering force as the sole woman movie distributor in South and South East Asia, having successfully distributed and screened nearly 85 movies of diverse genres and languages, spanning from arthouse to blockbuster hits.

Her efforts have been pivotal in introducing independent South Asian content to Southeast Asia, while actively engaging in developing co-productions across Asia and Europe, facilitating essential bridges and partnerships in the entertainment sector.

Serving as an influential figure for the South East Asian Project Market for Film Financing (SAFF) within the Singapore Media Festival and as the Country Ambassador for significant territories in the Asian Academy Creative Awards, she plays a vital role in promoting the arts and cinema.

Noteworthy achievements include spearheading an MOU at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018 to establish a regional consortium aimed at preventing sexual harassment in the film industry, particularly in South East Asia, and representing India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Cambodia as the Ambassador for the Asian Academy Creative Awards, supported by The Infocomm and Media Development Authority (IMDA) Singapore.

Beyond her contributions to the entertainment world, Sreyashi Sen holds advisory and Committee Member positions in various Non-Profit and Non-Governmental Organizations across Singapore and the region, leveraging her expertise to drive positive change and initiatives.

Her background in Kolkata, India, within a family deeply intertwined with cinema, provides a rich foundation for her work, having relocated to Singapore 17 years ago and attaining Singaporean citizenship.
