Soren Bested

Soren Bested is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in FinTech services, biotechnology, healthcare, and international strategic collaboration.

With a career spanning six countries and four continents, Soren's journey started in London in 2007 at Monitise, where he contributed significantly to its growth as the largest global mobile banking and payments service provider.

Throughout his career, Soren held key leadership positions such as Managing Director of Monitise Americas, COO, and Global Head of Product for Monitise Group.

In 2017, he was instrumental in the establishment of Pivotus Ventures, assuming the roles of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Product Officer.

Before entering the financial services sector, Soren showcased his talents by leading the World Economic Forum's Technology Pioneer program and participating in the Global Leadership Fellows program.

During his time in Singapore, he co-founded CordLife, a biotech company that emerged as a prominent provider of cord blood and cord lining banking services in Southeast Asia.

Soren holds an MBA from the National University of Singapore and an MSc in Chemical Engineering (Biotechnology) from DTU - Technical University of Denmark.

His vast organizational experience includes roles such as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, Chief Product Officer at various companies like Agent IQ, Pivotus Ventures, OrangeHook, LifeMed ID, and Monitise.

Soren has also served in capacities ranging from EVP, SVP, VP, to General Manager across different verticals within Monitise and other prominent organizations.

His expertise spans across operations, product management, technology leadership, and strategic development, making him a versatile and experienced professional in multiple industries.
