Somshubhro (Som) Pal Choudhury is a prominent figure in the Indian venture capital and technology ecosystem. He is currently a Partner at Bharat Innovation Fund, a pre-Series A and Series A venture fund focused on deep-tech and innovation-driven startups in India.1

Professional Experience

Som has been with Bharat Innovation Fund since November 2016, initially joining as a Venture Partner, IoT Advisor & Consultant before becoming a full Partner in August 2017.1 In his role, he is responsible for fund raising, scouting, investment, due diligence, operational support, corporate development, and planning for exits.

Prior to his venture capital career, Som held several notable positions in the technology industry:
