Snita Balsara is an early stage investor with Graphite Ventures and a prominent figure in Canada’s innovation ecosystem. She thrives on working alongside passionate entrepreneurs and leveraging her expertise to help them scale their startups. Snita’s career began in systems development and implementation, and she later took on a role at IBM in sales operations before moving to corporate development at the Herjavec Group. Since then, she has held several positions in venture capital, including MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund. Snita is passionate about diversity and inclusion in tech and is a founding member of the Diversity and Inclusion Small Council, which serves as a platform to help underrepresented tech founders gain exposure to top VC funds in Canada. Additionally, she founded the Canadian Women in VC Community to create a network of women investors dedicated to career development and sharing best practices.
