Leon Waskin

Skip Waskin, also known as Leon S. Waskin, is a highly experienced Senior Foreign Service Officer with a remarkable career spanning over 35 years in international development.

Currently serving as the Senior Executive Director for Operations at DevTech Systems, Inc., Mr. Waskin is instrumental in driving strategic business development efforts, overseeing program operations, and expanding the client base for sustainable growth.

Prior to his role at DevTech, he held significant positions such as the Coordinator for Economic and Development Assistance at the U.S. Embassy in Pakistan, where he played a key role in aligning civilian assistance with U.S. foreign policy objectives to support Pakistan's stability and growth.

Mr. Waskin's career highlights include serving as the Deputy Mission Director with USAID in Pakistan, leading earthquake response and development programs in Haiti, and directing missions in Afghanistan, Russia, Mongolia, and Thailand.

His academic background includes a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Kalamazoo College.
