Simin Zhou is an accomplished entrepreneur and business leader with a diverse background. She received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota before earning an MBA in Business Administration from Harvard Business School and studying Leadership and Business Management at Yale School of Management.
Over the years, Zhou has co-founded multiple successful companies, including Maxis and Sixam. She previously served as the Chief Strategy and Development Officer at UL, where she was responsible for overseeing strategy and mergers and acquisitions. Zhou has also served on the boards of Resilinc Corporation, Skyspecs, and 3Dsim, among others.
Zhou's expertise spans a range of industries, including technology, finance, and manufacturing. She has extensive experience in venture capital and has served as the managing director of UL Ventures and the co-founder of Tiandi Growth Capital. In addition, Zhou has held various leadership positions at UL, including Vice President of Strategy and Enterprise PMO and Vice President and General Manager of Appliances, HVAC and R&D components business.
