A contract fulfilled through Brightrunner, working on a multi-million pound transformation programme in a European Supply Chain function, 1 of 6 key programmes to collectively deliver wider global business transformation. 

Working at Board Level, using a pragmatic approach to facilitate formulation of ideas and analysis into appropriate transformation projects.

Building multiple business cases for transformation projects and developing project charters.

Creating the programme roadmap for a multi-million pound, 2-3 year transformation programme in the European Supply Chain function, through process and technology.

Defining and establishing the programme organisation with appropriate governance, reporting and control frameworks.

Programme Management Office Manager

Following successful completion of a Transformation programme (below), Brightrunner again secured another contract with Lloyds Register, establishing a portfolio of continuous improvement activity to stabilise and improve the quote to cash processes following significant technology investment. 

Governing compliance and implementation of the Target Operating Model.

Defining a continuous improvement framework using 6 sigma, Lean and Agile methodologies and tools. 

Facilitating interviews and workshops to identify problem statements and building project teams to deliver improvements.

Programme Manager, Continuous Improvement

The Brightrunner contract was extended and scope increased to include Programme Management. Managing the overall delivery of a large (circa 12,000 people) global business transformation, moving from a traditional systems infrastructure to a SaaS based one, creating standardised best-in-class processes and required customisations. 

Delivering change through a revised global Target Operating Model across organisational design, process and technology. 

Working closely with the Programme Director, managing the overall programme of work, co-ordinating a team of very senior leaders to support them and their teams to deliver work, identifying potential pitfalls and ensuring recovery with minimum impact to the business or transformation programme. 

Business wide (ERP, Finance and HR) technology implementation including working with key partners: SAP Business ByDesign, SuccessFactors, Concur and BPC.

Programme Manager, Transformation Programme

A multi-million pound transformation programme, with 150 people in the programme team, plus partners including SAP, Zalaris (ROC), PwC and KPMG. 

This Brightrunner contract started with establishing the PMO, working with the Programme Director and Senior Management. Writing the business case with the programme leadership team including the Programme Definition Documentation, product breakdown and roadmap.

Establishing governance mechanisms within the programme to manage the delivery across several work streams. Running the cadence of meetings, reporting and stage dates needed to control the delivery. 

Demonstrating resilience, capability and delivery, the contract scope was extended to include data migration responsibility for the UK and Ireland deployment. Trusted to review and improve data migration plans, manage the migration runbooks, coordinate the migration project and deal with issues and escalations to deliver a key stage of the programme. This was the precursor to taking on the PMO Manager role (above) for the transformation programme.

Four Points Consulting help leaders of medium to large, sized organisations to deliver improvement and change to achieve their financial, service or cultural goals. Contracts included helping clients such as eBay, Santander, Control Risks and Nelsons Natural Healthcare to achieve results as follows:

Established the Programme Management Office with governance, tools, templates and processes for a marketing cost optimisation project. 

Project Management of an ERP implementation through business case development, vendor selection and contracting, defining and planning the project. 

Project Management for an M&A project. 

Fulfilled Change Manager role in a global Microsoft Dynamics CRM implementation.

Process mapping, engineering and re-design for a sales process in publishing and event management.

Built and delivered a Diagnostic Tool to assess the current state of an IT organisation as part of a strategy plan.

Vendor assessment and implementation of Salesforce CRM.

Business Change and Transformation Consultant (Associate)

Established the EMEA IT PMO, as part of the Global Brambles IT organisation, leading a team of  experienced Project Managers to drive complex change projects with cross functional and global teams

Managing a multi-million dollar Project Portfolio for the EMEA region to deliver technology solutions in line with business strategy.

Liaising with Senior Management to ensure prioritisation and sponsorship of active projects and programmes, escalation and resolution of issues. Coaching Project Managers to deliver projects on time, on budget and to scope.

Delivering continuous improvement to PMO Processes and Governance, in line with the OPM3 maturity model from the PMI.

Strategic projects include:

Global Programme Manager for the transition from Google Apps to SharePoint online and Office 365. Delivered globally to c 8,000 users and across group companies. Intranet included a Mobile Site and SharePoint workspace apps.

Change Manager for communications for Office 365 implementation, working closely with Communications team to deliver an internal campaign.

Oversaw team delivering the rollout of SAP ECC6 to 7 new Brambles countries in Central Eastern Europe.

Working with the Field Service teams to optimize resources and guide executives to the ‘right location at the right time’ through targeted alerting using Siebel and BW integration.

Implementation of a Data Quality System using SAP Data Services for transactional and master data matching.

Programme Manager and PMO Lead, IT PMO

Continuous Improvement Manager with Six Sigma. Ensured that continuous improvement was absorbed into the enterprise using Six Sigma tools and approaches. 

Delivering key projects and training and coaching Project Leads in their Green Belt certification. Putting the appropriate governance in place to manage, prioritise and track the project portfolio for the UK & Ireland Sales, Customer Service and Finance functions.

Process Improvement Manager - Lean / Six Sigma

Delivering key organizational change projects including leading the Sales and Customer Service organization through the implementation of Miller Heiman sales methodologies using Siebel CRM Sales BlueSheets, ensuring the detailed gathering, translating and delivery of business requirements. 

Delivered a cross functional standardized Account Management reporting suite through BW using automation and BI Accelerator to improve performance and optimize resources. 

Reporting efficiencies reduced SAP licenses for Europe by 100 with an associated license allocation cost reduction of $5,000 per user. Led the Budget and Forecast council in a Lean project to reduce the budget process by 3 weeks.

Project Manager, Customer Service

Using Six Sigma processes to achieve results. Provided data driven analysis and recommendations across key projects to drive process improvement and decision making. 

Project Lead for the KPI and business reporting module of the Activity Based Pricing Architecture programme, working with BW and Siebel to provide insights and analysis to the Finance leadership team to support decision making.
 
Achieved Black Belt certification. 

Worked with European Key Accounts team using 6 Sigma approach to target exceptions to standard pricing, achieving a total annualized revenue improvement of £6.7m and a 64% defect reduction.

Senior Business Analyst and Project Team Lead - Sales & Marketing

Providing market and financial analysis on competitors and key projects. Researching and analysing market and competitor information to provide to the European and Global Executive teams, account management and sales teams.

Market Analyst, Europe

Driving new intercontinental business, establishing global standard processes. 

Working closely with customers, field account managers and the senior Global Management team to drive forward new business opportunities on a global basis. 

Increasing business from 100,000 to 1 million flows per annum. 

Established global standard processes using Siebel and SAP, with interaction to legacy systems as required.

Global Lead Business Analyst - Sales

Leading through organizational change and delivering process improvement through process re-engineering. Managing a team of 12 to achieve set targets and continuously improve processes. 

Managed the SAP implementation to the team and removal of old legacy systems, documented all key processes and translated them to the new application environments, trained all Customer Service staff including partners in other CHEP offices across Europe and the rest of the world (SA, USA, AUS).
