Nicole Thompson is a global HR leader with a focus on optimizing business and people strategies for companies undergoing transformation processes. She employs collaborative approaches such as human-centered design, learning and leadership development, workforce analytics, change management, coaching, and talent assessment to help organizations overcome complex talent challenges. Nicole's leadership capabilities encompass a wide range of skills including strategic planning, design thinking, product mindset, employee engagement, culture transformation, talent management, coaching, and learning design and delivery.
Education-wise, Nicole pursued a Master of Science in Learning & Organizational Change from Northwestern University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from North Central College.
Throughout her career, Nicole has held various key roles in notable organizations. She currently serves as a Leader in Strategic HR Consulting & Delivery at Allstate. Previously, she was the Practice Lead for Organizational Effectiveness, HR Chief of Staff, Lead Consultant for Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Management Leader & HR Business Partner, Lead Consultant for Learning & Delivery, and Program Manager for Leadership Development at Allstate. She also served as the Head of Learning & Change Management at Gogo, Manager of Leadership, Talent & Organizational Effectiveness at Grainger, and Learning & Development Consultant at Orbitz Worldwide. Additionally, Nicole worked as Chief of Staff to the President & CEO at Potbelly Sandwich Works.
