Legal & Compliance Director for MEA Region (UAE Qualified Advocate) at Porsche Middle East & Africa FZE

Shurooq Zainal is the Head of Legal and Compliance for the Middle East & Africa region at Porsche, making her the first Emirati and female in this position at Porsche.

Prior to joining Porsche, she was a Legal Director at Clyde & Co in Dubai for 11 years, where she was the first Emirati lawyer and UAE advocate to work at the firm.

Shurooq earned her LLB with merit from the University of Sharjah in Sharia & Law and completed her LLM in Shipping and International Commercial Law with merit from the University of London.

She has been recognized for her influence in the MENA region by Mercedes Benz and has actively participated in mentoring Emirati students at the UAE Ministry of Youth Affairs' Youth Hub at Emirates Towers.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Shurooq has embarked on charitable adventures like climbing Mount Kilimanjaro twice to raise funds for various organizations.

Shurooq Zainal's ultimate goal is to empower women of all nationalities, offering them guidance and support to achieve their professional aspirations.
