Shelley Zhuang

Shelley Zhuang is the Founder and Managing Partner of 11.2 Capital, a venture capital firm based in Menlo Park, California. With over 15 years of experience in technology, she has a diverse background that includes roles as a software engineer, research scientist, business executive, and venture capitalist.

Prior to founding 11.2 Capital, Shelley served as the Executive Vice President of Business Development at Ecoplast Technologies, where she managed business development and sales in North America. She was also a Principal at Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ), where she was involved in significant investments in companies like FeedBurner, Flurry, and TicketsNow, among others.13

Shelley holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from the University of Missouri and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. In addition to her work at 11.2 Capital, she is an advisor at Skydeck and has been involved with the Creative Destruction Lab.123

Her investment focus includes early-stage companies in sectors such as biotech, AI, robotics, and security, with a typical investment range of $100K to $10M, and a sweet spot around $1M.23
