Currently, Shazim Chhapra holds the esteemed position of Head of Strategy / Director of Operations and Co-Founder at GSolar, an influential solar project development, asset management & EPC company affiliated with Vitol Inc., operating in the MENA and South Asia regions. GSolar is prominent in servicing the commercial, industrial, and utility sectors with its innovative solutions.

Prior to his role at GSolar, Shazim Chhapra served as a Partner at MI Ventures LLC, a renowned family wealth management seed fund boasting a diverse portfolio of 70+ investments predominantly focused on alternative energy and technology ventures.

Shazim Chhapra's professional journey also includes a decade of dedicated service in South Africa, honing his expertise in corporate strategy, operations, business transformation, and turnaround management, culminating in the successful resuscitation of two businesses.
