Who is Shayne Gilbert?

Shayne Gilbert is the President of Future Forward Events and an Advisory Board Member of the Convergence Forum, a program that brings together influential pharmaceutical executives, biotech entrepreneurs, medical device innovators, academic researchers, and life sciences investors.123

Gilbert has been fueling the entrepreneurial community since starting Silverweave in 1994. She has focused on developing long-term, successful relationships with corporate sponsors, creating successful program execution strategies, and delivering results based on defined strategic objectives.2

Through Future Forward Events, Gilbert creates exclusive programs for life sciences and technology executives and investors, including the Nantucket Conference and the Convergence Forum.2 She has also served as the executive director of an international organization to strengthen bridges between the innovation community and provides development expertise and engagement to non-profit organizations.2

Gilbert is a graduate of Wellesley College and the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.2

As an Advisory Board Member of the Convergence Forum, Gilbert works with other industry leaders to shape the program's topics and speakers for each year's event.345 The 2024 Convergence Forum is scheduled for May 9th and 10th.46
