Shawn Hunter

Shawn Hunter is a leadership development keynote presenter, coach, corporate educator, and author. He works tirelessly with companies to design, write, and build customized learning experiences that bring about measurable change in their organizations. His work revolves around developing high-performing leaders and cultures that amplify the human aspect of business performance. Hunter has built a solid track record of groundbreaking accomplishments in his field. He co-founded Targeted Learning Corp with his father, Hal Hunter, Ph.D. and led the firm to be acquired by Skillsoft in 2007. After the acquisition, He continued to lead the company, broadening the leadership product portfolio for nine years, resulting in a ten-fold growth in the company’s revenue. In 2013, he published his first book, OUT•THINK (Wiley, Jossey-Bass), on innovative leadership practices. He founded Mindscaling, an organization dedicated to designing immersive workshops and micro-learning courses, among other learning experiences. Recently, he published his second book, SMALL ACTS of LEADERSHIP in October 2016.

Hunter studied Political Science and Government at St Andrews Presbyterian College. His current organization, Mindscaling, is focused on driving innovation, collaboration, and candid cultures through a journey-based curriculum for managers and leaders. He continues to deliver keynote speeches and workshops throughout the US, Canada, and internationally in support of his passion for leadership education and development.
