Shashank Yaduvanshi is a computer science expert with extensive experience in software development, research, and engineering management. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
Shashank started his career as a futures broker at Deutsche Bank Singapore, where he worked with top hedge funds, pension funds, and asset management firms worldwide. Simultaneously, he developed a groundbreaking Android app called Pukar to enhance women's safety in India in partnership with the NGO People for Parity, which garnered around ten thousand installs so far. After leaving Deutsche Bank, he led a successful career in tech, starting from internships at Microsoft Research and UIUC to becoming an Android Developer at Square, Co-Founder and CTO at TextMyPA, Engineering Intern at Pinterest, and recently, Engineering Manager at the same company.
Shashank is a scholar with several significant recognitions to his name, including the Siebel Scholars award, given to outstanding students from top graduate schools of business, computer science, and bioengineering worldwide, based on their academic excellence and leadership. He has co-authored three research papers and has a patent with Microsoft.
