Sharada Weir
Sharada Weir is a highly educated professional with extensive experience in the field of health economics and research.
She completed her DPhil in Economics at the University of Oxford, MA in Economics at the University of Toronto, and BA (First Class) in Economics at Memorial University of Newfoundland.
Sharada currently holds the position of Director of Healthcare Evaluative Research at the Ontario Medical Association.
Her previous roles include being an Associate at the Canadian Centre for Health Economics, a Data Scientist at the Ontario Medical Association, a Health Economist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, and a Principal Scientist at PHMR Associates.
Additionally, she has served as a Senior Project Director / Assistant Professor at the Center for Health Policy and Research at UMass Medical School, a Senior Research Associate at DxCG, Inc., an Assistant Scientist at the Center for Injury Research and Policy at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and an Analytic Scientist at Delmarva Foundation (Medicare Quality Improvement Organization).
Sharada's early career involved roles such as a Prevention Effectiveness Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and a Research Officer at the Centre for the Study of African Economies at the University of Oxford.
