Mike McCormick

Mike McCormick is the Founder and CEO of Halcyon Futures, a role he has held since October 2022. He is based in the San Francisco Bay Area and has a strong background in venture capital and investment. Prior to founding Halcyon Futures, McCormick was a Partner at GreatPoint Ventures, where he focused on early-stage investments in various sectors including healthcare, fintech, and food technology.12

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University, where he studied political science, philosophy, economics, and history.2 Throughout his career, McCormick has been involved in multiple ventures and organizations aimed at addressing critical global challenges, such as biosecurity and climate change.
