Shailey Kadakia

Shailey Kadakia is a seasoned GRC & Privacy leader with over 13 years of experience in security compliance, privacy, internal audit, and risk management.

She has a strong background in building and managing teams to scale security and GRC programs in both B2C and B2B sectors.

Currently, Shailey is the Head of Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Privacy (GRCP) at Airtable, where she is focused on leading a team in enhancing the company's compliance efforts.

Shailey holds a Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) from Santa Clara University, a B.A. in Economics from UC San Diego, and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego.

Her diverse educational background provides her with a unique perspective in tackling complex business challenges.

Prior to her current role at Airtable, Shailey gained valuable experience as the Compliance Lead and Sr. Compliance Manager, Risk & Assurance at Box, where she honed her skills in compliance management.

She also worked as a Technology Advisory Risk Consultant at Deloitte & Touche LLP, further expanding her expertise in the technology and risk management domains.

Shailey's rich professional history includes roles such as Office and Payroll Account Manager at Wireless Mobi Solution, Philanthropy Committee Chair at Alpha Kappa Psi, Lab Assistant at UCSD, and Conversation Leader at UCSD Extension Center.

Her diverse experiences across various industries have equipped her with a broad skill set that she brings to her leadership role at Airtable.
