Shaffer Day is a Junior at Washington and Lee University, currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Political Science. He is an alumnus of Charlotte Country Day School, where he received his high school diploma. Day has worked extensively in various fields, including customer service, accounting, and legal work. During his internship at the U.S. Department of Transportation, he gained hands-on experience in government administration and policy-making. In addition, he was part of the Washington and Lee Mock Convention as a Regional Chair, where he honed his leadership skills through collaboration and strategic planning. Day also worked as a summer intern at the U.S. House of Representatives, where he learned about the legislative process and developed his critical thinking abilities.
Day’s interests and expertise are disseminated across multiple fields such as accounting, law, advocacy and policymaking, government affairs, leadership, and customer service.
