Heather Wilde is a multi-award-winning Chief Technology Officer and Executive Coach, affiliated with three entrepreneurial accelerators, with over 20 years of experience in the fields of gaming, travel, healthcare, nonprofits, hospitality, productivity, government, retail, entertainment, and security. Throughout her career, she has received commendations from the United States Government and has been awarded accolades such as Mentor/Coach of the Year, Female Executive of the Year, and named a Top Writer on Quora. Her specialties include Anticipatory Design, AWS, Node, Python/Django, REST APIs, Angular, and React. Her experience lies in solving underlying communication issues on the people and software side, inhibiting growth and applying learnings from large-scale enterprises to startups. Heather is an infrastructure geek and a hardware, software, and people-side problem solver. She is also an author, speaker, nonprofit director, and Chair of the Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering Advisory Board. Heather has studied aerospace engineering, mathematics, literature, and medieval British literature at various institutions, including the University of Cambridge, St. John's College, and The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Heather is currently the Chief Technology Officer at theDifference and was formerly the Strategic Innovation Officer at AFWERX, Director at Serenze Global, and Cofounder & CTO at TWIP - Travel With Interesting People, among other positions.
