Selma Jebril

Selma Talha Jebril is an international development practitioner with a decade of experience, focusing on program design, monitoring, evaluation, learning, and business development.

She specializes in development projects related to early grade and higher education, governance, and youth workforce development, as well as peace-building initiatives like CVE and conflict resolution.

With expertise in designing and implementing rigorous quantitative and qualitative tools for evidence gathering, she is adept at navigating USAID project cycles, policies, regulations, M&E methodologies, and reporting requirements.

Selma has field and academic experience in countries including the United States, France, Morocco, Tunisia, India, Syria, and Djibouti. She is fluent in English, French, and Arabic, capable of simplifying technical concepts for broader audiences.

Known for her skills in partnership building, program design innovation, writing, communication, interpersonal relations, and analysis, she has been an Advisory Council Member at The Center for the Advancement of Languages, Education, and Communities.

Her professional journey includes roles as an Evaluation Consultant at the United Nations, Evaluation and Business Development Specialist at the Institute of International Education, and various positions at Chemonics International, Search for Common Ground, Mobile Accord, Inc., and the American Islamic Congress.

Selma's educational background features a Master's degree in Sustainable Development, International Policy Management from the School for International Training, and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Université de Cergy-Pontoise.
