Sebastian Bae is a defense analyst and wargamer with a vast range of expertise in security issues such as emerging technologies, military strategy, and doctrine. He has an impressive educational background, with a Master's degree in Security Studies from Georgetown University and has studied Terrorism and Counterterrorism Operations at the University of St. Andrews, Political Science and Government at The University of Hong Kong, and completed his Bachelor's degree in Peace & Conflict Studies: Human Security at UC Berkeley. His passion is to use wargaming to help guide and inform the U.S. national security policy and aid in developing the next generation of wargamers. He has served in several organizations such as RAND Corporation, USNA Museum, Military Operations Research Society (MORS) Wargaming Community of Practice, and the Brute Krulak Center for Innovation and Creativity at Marine Corps University. Additionally, he has experience in BAE Systems as an Intelligence Analyst & Wargamer and has served as a Columnist at Georgetown Security Studies Review and Foreign Policy, Executive Editor & Senior Contributor at Ramen IR, and Graduate Research Fellow at Homeland Security & Defense Business Council. Sebastion was also an Infantry Squad Leader in the United States Marine Corps and a student Instructor at UC Berkeley. With his expertise, he continues to shape the future of national security policy and wargaming while also sharing his knowledge and experiences with others in his field.
