Sean Warner

Sean Warner is a Georgia Institute of Technology graduate who co-founded and served as CEO of Grubbly Farms. In college, he and his partner discovered the innovative potential of black soldier flies in recycling food waste into a quality fertilizer and substitute animal feed. Grubbly Farms became an object of recognition and funding, with numerous awards and appearances in top startups and innovation programs. Eventually, Sean and his team had to pivot their focus on product development, branding, and marketing. They now source raw insect ingredients from other farms and cater to the pet chicken industry.

Before his entrepreneurial venture, Sean worked as a veterinary assistant, camp counselor, and sales assistant for different establishments. He also had internship experiences at JE Dunn Construction and John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods.

Sean has proven skills in creativity, intuition, problem-solving, and branding/marketing. He is an advocate of insect farming and sustainability, leveraging the benefits of black soldier flies and reducing food waste and overfishing.
