Scott Kominers
Scott Kominers is a market designer and economic engineer with a true passion to solve current real-world problems. He has pursued an extensive education background, with a Doctor of Philosophy, a Master's Degree, and a Bachelor's Degree, all from Harvard University. Currently, he is an MBA Class of 1960 Associate Professor of Business Administration in the Entrepreneurial Management Unit at the Harvard Business School.
Kominers has a wide range of professional experience, including being a Research Partner at Andreessen Horowitz, an Economist at Quora, and a Market Design/Economics Advisor at Novi Financial. Additionally, he has contributed to important academic institutions, serving as Vice-Chair of the Special Interest Group on Economics and Computation (SIGecom) at ACM (Association for Computing Machinery), a Faculty Affiliate in the Department of Economics at Harvard University, a Junior Fellow at Harvard University, and a Research Scholar at the Becker Friedman Institute at the University of Chicago.
Kominers is also passionate about sharing his knowledge with others and has been a Contributing Opinion Columnist for Bloomberg. His skills and areas of expertise include market design, economic engineering, and economics and computation.
