Scott Elias is a seasoned professional with a strong background in state affairs within the solar energy industry. Currently serving as the Senior Manager of State Affairs, Mid-Atlantic at the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), he oversees and supports policy efforts in various states including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. Prior to this role, Scott held positions such as Senior Manager of Programs & State Initiatives at SEIA, where he played a key role in policy development, research, and strategic initiatives across different SEIA programs. Scott is an alumnus of Wesleyan University, where he pursued a BA in the College of Social Studies with a focus on History, Government, Political and Social Theory, and Economics. During his time at Wesleyan, he was highly involved in student government and environmental activism.
