    Sasha Kimel is an accomplished individual with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in academia and research. She holds a PhD in Social & Cultural Psychology, Public Policy from the University of Michigan, where she also completed her Master of Science in Social Psychology. Sasha studied Psychology for her Bachelor of Arts at The University of British Columbia and spent time as a Visiting Student at the University of California, Los Angeles and an Exchange Student at the National University of Singapore.

    Professionally, Sasha has held various significant positions. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at California State University San Marcos. Previously, she was a Harvard College Fellow, Post-doctoral Researcher, and Lecturer at Harvard University. Additionally, Sasha has been a Visiting Researcher at the Emotion in Conflict Lab at The Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya and has interned at UN Women as a Governance, Peace and Security Intern. She also contributed to the Interfaith Council for Peace and Justice as a Research & Program Intern focusing on the Israel/Palestine Conflict.

    Moreover, Sasha's research experience is extensive and spans across reputable institutions. She has been a Workshop Facilitator at the Program for Intergroup Relations at the University of Michigan, a National Science Foundation Research Fellow at Kyoto University, and a Research Assistant at various esteemed labs including the Social Neuroscience Lab at the University of California, Los Angeles, the Mind, Culture & Society Lab at Stanford University, and the Culture & Cognition Lab at The University of British Columbia.
