Sarah Yribarren

Sarah Yribarren is a graduate student at Stanford University, pursuing a Master's degree in Earth Systems.3 She previously studied Chemical Engineering as an undergraduate at Stanford.46 Sarah has been involved in various research projects and student organizations:

1. She participated in Stanford's 2020 iGEM team, working on engineering a nucleic acid diagnostic in live cells using B. subtilis.15

2. Sarah is currently a researcher in the Tarpeh Lab at Stanford, focusing on chemical engineering and science communication.2

3. She serves as the Co-President of Stanford's AIChE (American Institute of Chemical Engineers) chapter, organizing events for community building and professional development among chemical engineering undergraduates.4
