Sarah Needham is the Executive Director of the Hill Art Foundation, a public exhibition and education space in New York City's Chelsea neighborhood.2 She has held this position since August 2018.1
Prior to joining the Hill Art Foundation, Needham served as a Program Officer at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation from October 2014 to July 2018, where she managed the foundation's arts and education grant portfolio in the U.S. and Canada.1 She also previously worked at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in various roles, including Coordinator of the Young Patrons of Lincoln Center membership group and Assistant in Public Relations and the 50th Anniversary Project.1
Needham holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Williams College and a Master of Business Administration from NYU Stern School of Business, where she focused on Strategy, Global Business, Entrepreneurship & Innovation.13 She was a recipient of the Stern Service Award in recognition of her leadership and commitment to the Stern community.1
As Executive Director of the Hill Art Foundation, Needham oversees the foundation's mission to present rotating exhibitions and ongoing arts education programs for the public.2 The foundation was founded by collectors and philanthropists J. Tomilson and Janine Hill.2
