Sara Scott
Senior Director of Equity, Engagement and Inclusion at DEN
Sara Scott is the Senior Director of Equity, Engagement, and Inclusion at Denver International Airport (DEN). In her current role, she is responsible for fostering a culture of inclusion and ensuring that equity is integrated into all organizational practices. Her work involves engaging team members at every level and applying an equity lens across all divisions of the airport.1
Before joining DEN in June 2022, Sara served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Center for Legal Inclusiveness (CLI), a nonprofit organization focused on promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion within the legal community. During her tenure at CLI, she trained over 1,800 professionals in these areas and was recognized as one of Law Week Colorado’s Top Women in 2021.1
Sara's background includes a strong foundation in law and advocacy, having begun her career at the Children’s Law Center in Washington, D.C., where she represented children in the abuse and neglect system. She has also practiced family law for fifteen years and has been involved in various initiatives aimed at supporting families and addressing racial justice issues.1
Sara holds a degree in Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity from Stanford University and a Juris Doctor from the George Washington University. She is a Denver native and is committed to applying anti-racist principles in her work.1
