    Sara L.M. Golden is a seasoned advisor, community organizer, and policy analyst with a diverse background spanning corporate, public, labor, non-profit, and NGO sectors. Currently employed at Oxfam Novib, she passionately works towards fostering fair value chains and sustainable food systems.

    Her areas of interest and expertise cover a wide range of critical topics including human rights of women in global value chains, aquaculture and seafood social sustainability, labor rights and international trade law, technology for enhancing supply chain transparency, and promoting anti-racism and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

    With an impressive publication history, Sara Golden has contributed to significant works such as 'Public or Private Blockchains?' for the World Economic Forum in 2019, 'Sustainable Supply Chains & Blockchain' published by New America in 2018, and 'Forest Defenders in Sri Lanka' at Johns Hopkins in 2017.

    Sara's academic journey includes a Master of Arts in International Law and Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley, and additional studies in French Language, Feminism, and Gender Studies at Sciences Po, as well as education at High Tech Los Angeles.

    Having held key roles in renowned organizations, Sara has previously served as the Fair Value Chains Advisor focusing on human rights, standards, and multi-stakeholder initiatives at Oxfam Novib, as well as roles such as Quality Management Specialist - Business Processes at the same organization. She has also worked as a Senior International Trade Compliance Associate at Flexport, a Research Fellow at New America, an ICT4D Fellow at Good World Solutions, and in various other impactful positions.

    Sara Golden brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in areas such as supply chain integrity, sustainable practices, and social justice, making significant contributions across different sectors to drive positive change and promote ethical business practices.
