Sara Frailich is an accomplished anthropologist and innovation strategist, currently serving as adjunct faculty at the University of Minnesota. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Hebrew & Semitic Studies, Women's Studies, and Jewish Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with a Master's degree in Anthropology and Women & Gender Studies from Brandeis University.1
In her professional career, Frailich has worked with several Fortune 500 companies, including 3M and Target, where she specialized in user experience (UX) research and human-centered design. She has facilitated numerous UX studies and has extensive experience in ethnography, service design, and usability testing.1
Frailing is the co-founder and CEO of the Design Research Collective, where she applies Design Thinking methodologies to help organizations innovate and improve their products and services.4 Her teaching at the University of Minnesota includes foundational courses in the newly established UX Design major, reflecting her commitment to education and mentorship in the field of design research.23
