    Santosh Harish is a dedicated professional with a strong background in energy and environment policy, with a specific focus on air quality governance in India. Having studied Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, he furthered his education by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. Throughout his career, Santosh has held various significant roles, including being a Fellow at the Centre for Policy Research, an Editor at Collaborative Clean Air Policy Centre, and an Associate Director Research at the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago (EPIC-India). He has also contributed as a Postdoctoral Fellow at both Evidence for Policy Design at the Harvard Kennedy School and at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), in addition to serving as a Graduate Research Assistant in Engineering and Public Policy at CMU. Santosh's work involves synthesizing academic literature and incorporating different perspectives from researchers and practitioners in the air quality community, emphasizing the importance of institutional capacity and processes in policy-making efforts.
