Sabbatical

Took a planned sabbatical to hit that pause button for a while and being able to pursue personal and professional growth opportunities, which enriched my skills and perspectives in meaningful ways.

Key activities:
• Personal Development: Engaged in extensive reading on self development.
• Professional Training: Completed a periode of career and managing development coaching.
• Travel: Traveled to Spain (Catalunya) to stay there for a longer period of time.
• Volunteering: I volunteer as an informal carer for three people close to me. 

Outcome: 
The sabbatical period was instrumental in developing a broader perspective on myself, my career goals and life in general, renewing my passion for PR and marketing and acquiring new skills that will directly contribute to my future professional endeavors.

• Project coordinator for the launch of the new interior brand WOWN!, powered by Kwantum, created by three well-known Dutch interior influencers: Binti Home, &SUUS, and Zilverblauw.
• Managing the PR agency, set builders, and freelancers.

ONOBU Amsterdam

PR Specialist

As a PR and Marketing Advisor within the new marketing team of Bruynzeel Keukens, I contributed to laying the foundation for the completely new brand positioning of the well-known kitchen brand. In this role, I learned and applied all the ins and outs of (re)launching a brand and positioning it in the target market to become and remain top-of-mind.

· Through the use of cross-media campaigns, we promoted the pay-off of Bruynzeel Keukens: 'The kitchen that works.' This involved rolling out the new brand promise and brand strategy in both the B2B and B2C markets.

· I created a PR plan.

· Engaged in content creation and copywriting.

· Established joint promotions and sponsorships, including collaborations with Ahold (Allerhande Box) and the Dutch Open Air Museum (Canon van Nederland), to anchor Bruynzeel Keukens within Dutch history.

· Provided guidance and coaching to interns, junior employees, and managed external agencies.
