Samiul Amin is a highly experienced professional in the fields of chemical engineering and materials science, with over 22 years of industry and academic expertise. He is currently the Professor of Practice in Chemical, Environmental, and Materials Engineering at the University of Miami, where he also serves as the Director of the Engineering Center for Advanced Practices (ECAP) since August 2022.
In addition to his academic role, Amin is the Co-Founder of Fastformulator LLC, a company focused on innovations in formulation science. He also operates Complex Fluid LLC, a consulting firm he established in January 2018. His editorial contributions include serving as an editor for Current Opinion in Colloid and Interface Science and as an associate editor for Surfactants and Detergents.
