She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Industrial and Operations Engineering & Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering, showcasing her expertise in these fields.

Her educational journey also includes a Graduate Certificate in Complex Systems and a Master of Science in Engineering (M.S.E) in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan's Rackham Graduate School.

Samantha's foundation in engineering started with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E) in Industrial and Operations Engineering with a minor in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, all obtained from the University of Michigan College of Engineering.
