Douglas Schofield

Douglas Schofield is a highly accomplished professional with a background in engineering, management, and military service.

He holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering and Management, as well as a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, and Marine Engineering, both from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Additionally, he earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering from the US Coast Guard Academy.

Douglas Schofield has an extensive career history within the U.S. Coast Guard, where he held several key positions of leadership and responsibility. He served as the Commander of the U.S. Coast Guard Seventh District, Assistant Commandant for Acquisition and Chief Acquisition Officer, Director of Acquisition Programs and Program Executive Officer, Assistant Program Executive Officer for Surface Acquisitions, Commander of the Surface Forces Logistics Center, Project Manager for the Offshore Patrol Cutter, and Commanding Officer of the USCGC THETIS (WMEC-910).
