Sam Schiller
Climate impact entrepreneur and advocate
Sam Schiller is a seasoned professional with an extensive background in climate change, environmental sustainability, and impact investing. He is the founder and CEO of Carbon Yield, a firm that helps farmers access carbon markets and adapt to climate change. Sam has also worked as a Manager of Carbon Projects at Tradewater, where he developed and managed projects that generated over 2 million tons of carbon credits in the California emission reduction program. He is a former Research Assistant at the Center for American Progress, where he focused on energy policy.
Sam is an MBA graduate from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. He is also a founding co-chair of the Delta Emerging Leaders Board, an auxiliary board of the Delta Institute that promotes innovation and environmental sustainability in the Great Lakes region. Additionally, Sam created BOOST, a community-driven funding event that supports environmental ventures in Chicago. He now serves as the Chair of Delta Institute's Board of Directors.
