Sam Kosoff

Sam Kosoff is the Board Chair of The Green Schools Alliance, an organization dedicated to promoting sustainability in education.12 His career has been focused on sustainability in education, with extensive experience in various educational institutions.1
Professional Background
Kosoff's most recent role was as Semester Director at The Island School, an experiential semester school in Eleuthera, Bahamas, which emphasizes sustainability in its academic and campus life. He spent three years in this position and was also instrumental in establishing the school in the late 1990s.1
Prior to his work at The Island School, Kosoff spent a significant portion of his career at The Lawrenceville School, his alma mater. There, he served as the inaugural Director of Sustainability for thirteen years. Before that, he worked at the school for five years in various capacities, including as a teacher, admissions associate, coach, and dorm parent.1
