    Gary Cocke is a results-oriented sustainability leader with a strong academic background in biology and ecology.

    He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Texas and a Master of Science in Biology with a focus on Ecology and Conservation from Texas Christian University, where he achieved a GPA of 3.903.

    In his professional journey, Gary has held various key roles in sustainability and environmental conservation, including Director of Sustainability and former Associate Director for Sustainability and Energy Conservation at The University of Texas at Dallas.

    Prior to that, he was actively involved in organizations such as Keep Denton Beautiful, Inc., where he served on the Board of Directors, and worked as a Sustainability Coordinator at University of North Texas.

    His passion for water education and sustainability led him to serve as the Water Education Coordinator in the Sustainability and Environmental Education Division at the City of Plano.

    Through his consultancy role at Cerner Corporation, Gary further expanded his expertise and impact in the sustainability field.

    During his academic pursuits, he also gained experience as a Graduate Student/Teaching Assistant at Texas Christian University, where he was involved in UNT-Howard Hughes Medical Institute Program Coordination and NSF FOCUS Scholarship mentoring at University of North Texas.
