Sam Fankhauser

Sam Fankhauser is a prominent figure in the field of climate change economics and policy. He currently holds the position of Professor of Climate Change Economics and Policy at the University of Oxford, where he is affiliated with the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment and the School of Geography and the Environment.13

Academic Roles and Affiliations

In addition to his professorship, Fankhauser serves as the Research Director of Oxford Net Zero and is a Fellow of Reuben College.14 He is also a Co-Investigator of the Place-based Climate Action Network (PCAN), an ESRC-funded Network Plus hosted by the Grantham Research Institute.1
