Sajad Naghavi

Sajad Naghavi is an accomplished Solar Energy & Energy Management professional with a strong background in design, business development, project consulting, and research & analysis.

He has extensive experience working on energy efficiency projects and MW-scale solar PV projects for corporates & government organizations.

Sajad possesses scientific knowledge of solar thermal systems and thermal energy storage techniques, with a special focus on managing senior-level relationships and cross-functional teams.

He has been actively involved in local and international projects across South East Asia, Middle East, and Central Asia.

Sajad's specialties include Energy Management, Energy Efficiency Audit, Measurement, Monitoring and Verification of Energy Consumption, Thermal Energy Storage Systems, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), Building Energy modeling, Solar PV System modeling, and Solar Thermal system modeling.

Additionally, he has a basic knowledge of Energy Management Systems like ISO 50001:2011, Energy Management System Requirements per EN 16001:2009, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

Sajad Naghavi holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Solar Energy Technology from Universiti Malaya, a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (energy) from the University of Malaya, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical engineering (heat&fluids) from Daneshgahe Sanati Shahrood.

Throughout his career, Sajad has held various roles including Energy Efficiency/Solar Energy Consultant at Freelancer, Adjunct Lecturer at UCSI, Research Fellow at the University of Malaya, Lead Solar Team at UEM Edgenta Berhad, Energy Consultant at UEM Edgenta Berhad, Mechanical Design Engineer at MAG Magnetics Sdn Bhd, and Research Assistant at University of Malaya.

His diverse experience showcases his expertise in the field of solar energy, energy management, and sustainable practices, making him a valuable asset in the industry.
