Saeed Jazebi, Ph.D., SMIEEE is currently the Supervisor of Hosting Capacity Analysis at Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) in the San Francisco Bay Area.1 He has over 15 years of experience in the energy industry and is a recognized expert in grid modernization and data-driven analysis.1

• Supervisor, Hosting Capacity Analysis (TA), Pacific Gas and Electric Company (May 2023 - Present)

  • Leading a team of power system engineers and data analysts to develop automated products and produce quality hosting capacity data for a High Distributed Energy Resources (DER) Future1

• Expert Grid Innovation Engineer, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (January 2020 - June 2023)

  • Project lead for PG&E's Integration Capacity Analysis (ICA) software, a complex, cloud-based, automated distribution system analysis package
  • Data analysis and data quality improvement lead for PG&E internal databases, i.e. CYME, GIS, LoadSEER
  • Internal and external subject matter expert for regulatory, compliance, and policy discussions and workshops within the Rule 21, DRP, and High Future DER proceedings

  • Led the design and development of distribution/transmission level superconducting and semiconducting fault current limiters (FCLs)

Saeed Jazebi received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Shahid Bahonar University, Kerman, Iran, in 2006, and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from New York University Tandon School of Engineering.2
