Sachin Chitta is a robotics expert known for developing cutting-edge solutions in robotics, computer vision, and deep learning.
Currently serving as the Director of Robotics Research at Autodesk, he leads a talented team in creating flexible robotic assembly systems for manufacturing and construction.
Previously, Sachin was the Founder & CEO of Kinema Systems, a company focused on deep-learning solutions for robotic depalletizing, which was acquired by Boston Dynamics in 2019.
His early career includes developing software for surgical robots at SRI and contributing to widely-used open-source robotic manipulation packages like MoveIt! and ROS-Control at Willow Garage.
Sachin Chitta holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
