    Gary Bradski is a prominent figure in the fields of Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Robotics, and AI. He is renowned for founding and overseeing the development of the OpenCV (Open Source Computer Vision Library) and the OSVF (OpenCV, CARLA, GTSAM, Open3D, DLG) projects. His notable contributions include assembling the vision team for Stanley, the robot that triumphed in the $2M DARPA Grand Challenge, a groundbreaking autonomous robot race across the desert, paving the way for technologies like streetview and Google Maps. Bradski also co-founded the Stanford AI Robot (STAIR) project, which later led to the establishment of Willow Garage, PR2 robot, and ROS. He served as a consulting Professor at Stanford CS department during this time.
