Sachi Shah is a highly skilled International Development professional with a passion for addressing issues at the intersection of human and environmental health. She is an expert in Strategy & Project Management, Community-Based Participatory Action and Research (CBPAR), Enterprise Innovation, Research & Analysis, and Monitoring & Evaluation. Sachi is a graduate of the Mahindra United World College of India and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Developmental Studies from Sarah Lawrence College. She also holds an MPhil in Planning, Growth and Regeneration (Urban Planning) from the University of Cambridge.

Sachi's career has been focused on environmentally and socially sustainable economic development and eco-sustainable, health-focused urban design. She has worked as a Global Health Corps fellow, an intern at the Rockefeller Foundation, a consultant at Aavishkaar Group, and founded her own social enterprise, Truss Group, in Malawi, Africa. Her enterprise received US$50,000 in UNDP funding.

Sachi's experience has equipped her with skills in project management, research and analysis, monitoring and evaluation, and community-based participatory action. She is passionate about developing strategies that center around environmentally and socially sustainable economic development, and eco-sustainable, health-focused urban design.

Sachi is also a committed community organizer, mentor, and teacher. She has worked with Emfuleni Trust – Green Island Vision, Open Arms, The Janada L. Batchelor Foundation for Children, and ReefWatch Marine Conservation. She has also served as a Fellow at Rhize, Programs Assistant at Groundwork Hudson Valley, and Communications Intern at The Rockefeller Foundation.
