Saaniya Shaikh

Saaniya Shaikh is an experienced design leader with over 10 years of experience in creating impactful products globally. With a background in graphic design and visual communication, Saaniya has led multidisciplinary teams across three different continents to build end-to-end products/experiences. Presently, Saaniya is the UX Research and Strategy Lead for platform unification at Broadsign, a software company that provides cloud-based digital signage solutions. Saaniya is also the founder of Women of Product, a non-profit organization that provides resources, community, and support for women in product management.

Saaniya's expertise lies in UX management, product vision, UX strategy, experience design, design education, and design research. As a design generalist, Saaniya is proficient in driving innovation, design strategy, concept development, and building effective UX/product teams. As a manager of small UX/product teams, Saaniya believes in the power of collaboration and is always open to mentorship and educational opportunities.

Saaniya's contributions to the community are a passion that she enthusiastically pursues by working with non-profit design and product organizations. In the past, Saaniya has served as a teaching instructor, visiting faculty, and graduate research assistant at various universities, including the University of Oklahoma and the University of Mumbai.
