Ryan Seldon

Ryan Seldon is a senior software engineer at Cruise, a company focused on developing self-driving cars. He has an engineering degree from Harvey Mudd College and received high school education from Maret School. Ryan has a diverse background in various fields, having worked as a photovoltaic designer at SolarCity, global clinic team member at PotaVida, and a summer undergraduate research fellow at Caltech, among other roles.

At Caltech, Ryan was part of the Autonomous Systems Laboratory, where he studied autonomous vehicle systems. At Los Alamos National Laboratory, he was a clinic team member where he designed and implemented software systems for various projects. Before joining Cruise, Ryan was a startup engineering intern at Bechtel Power Corporation.

Ryan has also served as a grader/tutor for various courses at Harvey Mudd College, such as ENGR 11: Autonomous Vehicles and CS 5: Introduction to Computer Science. He has also worked as a writing center consultant at the same institution.

With his extensive engineering and software development experience, Ryan is a valuable asset to the tech industry. He has a passion for autonomous systems and is committed to working towards a future where self-driving cars become a common sight on the streets.
