Ryan Budny

Ryan Budny is a driven professional who transitioned from an economics PhD program towards a career in web development. His passion for modifying websites led him to attend RefactorU's immersive 10-week web development course in Boulder, CO. With a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Grove City College, Ryan also studied Full Stack Javascript Web Development at RefactorU. He has a strong background working as a Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Flowhub Cannabis Dispensary Software. Ryan has previously held roles as a Graduate at RefactorU, a Mercatus PhD Fellow and Research Assistant at George Mason University, a Medical Staff Coordinator at Columbia St. Mary's, an Economics Tutor at Tutor.com, and an Intern at The John K. MacIver Institute for Public Policy. His enthusiasm for web development stems from the desire to positively impact the lives of others.
