Ryan Newton

Ryan Newton is a seasoned professional with a focus on developing deterministic computation techniques while maintaining high performance levels for improved debugging, testing, and formal verification processes. His expertise lies in disrupting abstractions at the OS and programming language layers of the stack. Ryan has a strong academic background with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a B.S. in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington.

Throughout his career, Ryan has held various key positions at esteemed organizations, including serving as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Computer Science at Indiana University Bloomington, a Tech Lead at Meta, an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University, and a Visiting Researcher at Microsoft. He also has experience as a CEO and co-founder at Cloudseal INC and has worked in roles such as Associate Professor of Computer Science at Indiana University, Software Engineer/Research Scientist at Intel Corporation, Consultant at MERL, and Research Intern at Nokia and Microsoft. Ryan has also shared his expertise as a Resident Tutor at Harvard University.
