Ryan Marrone is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in the development and finance of renewable energy projects. He also boasts almost two decades working with private and public companies, including Fortune 100 firms.
Throughout his career, Ryan Marrone has excelled in leading the development of over 750 MWs of commercial and industrial solar installations. His expertise extends to successfully closing project financings exceeding $1.3 billion dollars.
Currently serving as the President of Solops, LLC, a leading developer and finance company specializing in the solar commercial and industrial space, Ryan co-founded the firm in 2010.
Among his notable roles, Ryan previously co-founded and served as the Chief Operating Officer of Onyx Renewable Partners L.P., the exclusive renewable energy investment company for global powerhouse The Blackstone Group (NYSE: BX).
Before his current roles, Ryan Marrone practiced law, focusing on general corporate matters, renewable energy, finance, and real estate. His legal experience includes serving as General Counsel for Heller Industrial Parks, a major private owner of industrial property in the United States.
Ryan Marrone holds a BA in English and Political Science from Seton Hall University and a JD from Widener University School of Law. He has leveraged his knowledge to educate others by providing lectures on the solar industry and testifying before the New Jersey Senate Energy Committee.
Dedicated to community involvement, Ryan now contributes to the Board of Trustees of RWJ/Barnabus University Hospital-Hamilton, showcasing his commitment to both his professional and philanthropic endeavors.
