Barry Sternlicht is the Chairman & CEO of Starwood Capital Group, a private alternative investment firm focusing on global real estate, hotel management, oil and gas, and energy infrastructure.

With over 28 years of experience, Barry Sternlicht has overseen investments with an asset value exceeding $110B in various sectors including multifamily units, hotels, office properties, retail spaces, and residential subdivisions.

Starwood Capital, under Mr. Sternlicht's leadership, manages over $60B in assets for high net worth and institutional partners, with a workforce of more than 4,000 employees and offices worldwide.

Previously, he founded and led Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, transforming it into a global player with 895 properties across 100 countries, renowned for brands like W Hotels and St. Regis Hotels.

In 2008, Barry Sternlicht established SH Group, managing Baccarat Hotels & Resorts and 1 Hotels brands, showcasing his prowess in the hospitality industry.

Recognized with numerous prestigious awards, including the PERE Lifetime Achievement Award, Mr. Sternlicht is known for his industry influence and entrepreneurial success.
